Born Out Of

Bleet.co.za was born out of necessity and frustration. While looking for specific products and services online, we uncovered a nightmare of unsatisfactory results. We soon identified that the online market in South Africa does not cater for product or service specific searches, YES, there are plenty of business directories out there, but unless you know which business to contact, they are all rather useless.

The solution was simple. Create a business search engine where businesses list their products and services, and thus provide a platform of meaningful search results to you, the end user.

The Idea

Bleet needed to be fast, reliable, easy to use, accurate and intuitive in its results. We had to be customer focused, providing the tool for businesses to reach their target markets.

With our simple designs, and smart search technology, we believe we've created the perfect blend to provide YOU with a pleasant, meaningful search experience.

What We Are

We realised that with the intelligence built into our system we can't call ourselves a business directory anymore. A business engine with smart search technology is a more accurate description. We are 100% customer focused and driven. Usability of our system is our priority with accuracy a very close second.

How We Work

The success of our smart search technology relies to a large extent on the actual usage of the system by business owners. A large part of our drive will be to get business involved in improving the level of customer service and communication. We have imported extensive amounts of business data into our system, and have arranged them according to categories and locations.

Each business listing allows for multiple keywords, these are in essence the strong defining difference between us and a standard business directory. Each keyword captured by a business has a varying weight, this allows businesses to be prioritised in an order of relevance based on how they prioritise their products / services. Our searches use logic and adapt to meet the growing needs of our users.

Our 5 Year Vision

Our goal is to be the Business Search Engine of choice in South Africa. Once we have achieved this milestone, we will aim towards an international audience, and have our searches running faster, more accurately with the most relevant results compared to anything in the market.
