What is Bleet?
Launched in 2009, Bleet is an online business search engine. We primarily list business in the Eastern Cape, but will be expanding to the rest of South Africa in the near future. At present we have over 15000 business listings. Any business may register with us for FREE.
How do I use Bleet?
Bleet is a business search engine, so simply search for the product or service you are looking for. Alternatively, if you know the name of the business you can enter that too.
Can I email businesses listed on Bleet?
Yes, if we have an email address for the business, there will be a link beneath the contact details that allows you to email them directly.
How do I report incorrect data?
Incorrect telephone number or website, etc. Please contact us and provide as much information about the incorrect data as possible. We will respond to your email as soon as possible.
How did my business get here?
Businesses may add themselves to the directory by registering here. If your business was not added by yourself or another person in your company, it may have been imported from a collection of information directories already published.How do I list on Bleet?
Easy! Just click register at the top right-hand corner of the page, follow the simple step by step process, and your advert will be live in minutes.
Why isn't my business listed first?
Businesses appear at the top of the list based on their ranking. Ranking is determined by the amount of relevant information contained in your listing, together with your keywords. The more information relevant to the search term, the higher your ranking will be.
Why can I only see my business name and telephone number?
Standard users will have a business name, telephone number, fax number and address while Premium* and Ultimate* users will have full access to all Bleet features.
How can I take ownership of my business listing?
If you have found your business on Bleet and would like to take ownership of its administration, simply open the listing and then click on the link at the bottom of the page below the title "Do you own..." The process is fast, simple and free. A Bleet consultant will contact you to verify that you are in fact the legitimate owner, and you will then recieve an email granting you access to your business listing.
How do I edit my business details?
You can edit your business listing by simply logging in to your Owners Dashboard and selecting "Edit Advert".
Can my business have more than one 'administrator'?
Yes it can, as long as we can verify an administrator's role, we can grant multiple users access to the same listing.
What keywords should I enter?
Good keywords are relevant keywords, so we encourage businesses to list their products and services. Remember the more relevant the keyword, the more likely your listing is to receive positive hits, which will potentially generate business for you.
How do I remove my business from Bleet?
We only remove businesses from our directory if they are no longer trading. If that is the case please email us and we will remove your business from our listings.
Does Bleet list businesses outside South Africa?
Bleet is an online search engine for South African businesses only and does not list businesses from outside South Africa.
